NEWS - February 2018
Bowling Green Corvettes - We shared our faith participating at the Smiths Grove Christmas Parade in Smiths Grove, KY. on December 1st. Also, our Pathfinders marched in the Boyce Christmas Parade, which was in benefit for "Toys for Tot's" on December 3rd in Alvaton, KY. Lastly, we participated in "Random Acts of Kindness" on December 9th in our city. (Visit us on our Facebook page "Corvettes Pathfinder Club")
Cannon County Christians - The Christians joined Tullahoma Equestrians and Nashville Hispanic Soldier's of the King Pathfinder Clubs in the Murfreesboro Christmas Parade on Sunday, Dec. 10. We had a great time marching in front of the Adventurer's float and behind the awesome Nashville Drum Corp. Our float depicted Jesus as the true way to "Peace on Earth." Tullahoma's float had Snoopy and Charlie Brown's Christmas Tree. The Nashville float was of the angels bringing the Good News to the world. It was an awesome day for a parade and will be a lasting memory for our youth. Lawrenceburg Lions - December was a fun and busy month for our club. The highlight was marching in our local Lawrenceburg Christmas Parade followed by a bowling party afterward. Our annual Senior Breakfast was enjoyed by the Pathfinders and the 30 seniors in attendence. We cooked, served, and entertained them. The month was topped off by a fun trip for our PBE team to Pensacola, Fla. where they enjoyed the beach, beautiful weather and practicing with another PBE team from the area. Louisville Cherokees - The club members had a good time playing laser tag one evening in a private party at Lazer Blaze. Some of the members made their Christmas cards that were given out at the senior center. The club went to a senior center to sing for the residents. After singing Christmas carols, they visited with the residents, gave each one a Christmas card and a candy cane. The residents loved the caroling. The staff had a staff dinner at a local restaurant one evening and the directors gave each staff member a gift. |
Madison Campus Trailblazers - We had a Christmas lock-in in our Pathfinder building on December 2nd. We enjoyed exchanging gifts, playing games, Christmas music, watching movies and getting a little sleep. It was a blast!
Manchester Mustangs - Had a great time participating in the Manchester Christmas Parade. Plan on doing it again next year.
Raleigh Guardians - We had a Pathfinder Sabbath on December 2nd. The Pathfinders were in charge of everything, including the sermon. The sermon was given by Aubri Stewart. He attends a local christian high school. Some of his teachers even attended church to hear him, along with other non-adventist friends and family. It was a great way to spread Gods love through our kids!
Ridgetop Ridgerunners - We visited a church member, cleaned her flower beds raked leaves and spread new mulch for her. After caroling together, the Pathfinders provided vespers for their Parents and presented our induction service for two new members.
Our "Camping Christmas" float with real fire is always a hit. This year to step it up we made s'mores and gave them away enroute to the park. We also went caroling |
