Fire Building

Max. 6 Pathfinders per team

• Each team must build a fire that can boil water.
• This will be a timed event.
• Firewood will be provided.
• You must provide your fire starter stuff, (matches, tender, kindling).
• No lighters will be allowed.
• No Accelerants will be allowed.
• No Fat Wood or wood designed as fire starter wood will be allowed.
• You must provide your own pan that will hold at least 3 cups of water.
• Water will be provided.

 
First Aid

• This is a relay run.

• Pathfinder must demonstrate how to stop a bleeding area of the body as defined by Event Leader.
• Pathfinder must demonstrate how to immobilize an area of body as defined by event leader.
• Pathfinder must demonstrate how to correctly apply a sling to an arm.
• Pathfinders must demonstrate how to carry an injured Pathfinder by using the blanket method or shirts on poles. Carry distance 30 ft.
• Each Club must provide their own equipment.
